The PVOA board proposes changing the annual dues cap from $100 to $175. At the March 11th meeting, votes will be counted. A quorum of 60% of the voters is needed for the vote to be allowed. At least 572 votes are needed! PLEASE VOTE!!

Proposed Rental Regulations in Park View

Scott County will hold a public meeting to obtain input on the proposed Park View Rental Registration and Inspection Regulation.  Such proposed regulations may and could require registration of multifamily rental units, background checks of current and prospective tenants, landlord training, written leases, rental licenses and inspection of rental units for multifamily and townhouse units within Park View.  Such regulations may and could also provide the determinations that could result in fines and possible revocation of rental licenses for failure to comply with the general regulations, property maintenance requirements and any determination of public health nuisances or nuisance activity as defined by the regulations.  This public meeting will be held at the Eldridge Branch of the Scott County Library, 200 N. 6th Ave Eldridge, IA at 6 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.

Christmas Lighting Contest – Saturday, December 14th

Once again PVOA is sponsoring the lighting contest. Make sure your outdoor decorations are lit up! Judging will take place from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday, December 14th. Winners will have signs put in their yards. 1st place wins $75. 2nd place-$50 3rd place-$25

The Scott County Board of Supervisors will attend and would like to discuss the accomplishments over the past 2 years and the goals and challenges going forward.  Also Christina McDonough of the Scott Co. Health Department will discuss ways to make Park View healthier. Come join the discussion!!

New Water Tank & Treatment Plant Improvements

Open House is set for Wednesday, July 24, 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the PVOA building to review plans for improvements to the water treatment plant planned by the Park View Water & Sanitary District. 
Find out how Park View Owners’ Association is partnering with PVW&SD. Come and learn about the plans! All Park View residents are encouraged to attend.

4th of July Celebration

All events are at Meadowbrook Park.

  • 2—4 PM Home Run Derby— for boys & girls entering 2nd through 7th grade
  • 4 PM Car Show— No pre-registration needed!  Show off your special car.  People’s choice award will be given out at 6:30 PM. 
  • 4 PM to 7 PM Bounce Houses— Free
  • 5 PM to 7 PM  Pony Rides— Free
  • 6 PM  to 8 PM Live Music— Contraband
  • 8 PM to end of fireworks—Music by Anytime Entertainment
  • Dusk (9:30ish) Fireworks  Rain date: Saturday, July 6th
