Make sure your outdoor decorations are lit up! Judging will take place from 6—8 PM. Winners will be notified and signs will be put in their yards. Residents may not win a prize two consecutive years.

The Park View Women’s Club and the Park View Lions Club will host a night of family fun including supper, crafts and a visit from Santa Claus. The Women’s Club will provide crafts and Santa’s treat bags. Supper will be available for purchase from the Lions Club starting at 5 PM. Please bring a non- perishable food for the “Blessing Box”.
Park View Owners’ Association needs another part time maintenance worker. Duties include mowing parkways and maintenance of equipment, playgrounds, and ball fields. During the Fall months, the maintenance crew plans to install playground equipment and transplant trees. During the growing season workers are needed 15 to 20 hours per week. Basic mechanical knowledge is needed. Applications are available at 17 Lincoln Ave. in the mailbox by the office door. Please submit your application in the locked mail/drop box on the street in front of the office
Park View Owners’ Association is looking for 2 people to join the board. Requirements are the ability to attend meetings the second Wednesday of the month from 6 pm to 8 pm and a desire to serve your community. Submit a short biography to [email protected] to be considered. Also please attend the meeting on August 9 at 7 pm. Your offer to serve is greatly appreciated.

To celebrate Park View’s 50th birthday, an all day celebration is planned on July 4th! Many activities are in the works for this all day event, including a parade, a live band, Lions Food Trailer, free cake and ice cream, Park View history exhibit, kids crafts, bounce houses, dunk tank, bags tournament, a car show and pony rides! The Owners’ Association has available commemorative T-shirts for just $10 each. They are 50/50 cotton polyester. Also, embroidered hats for $15 and koozies for $1.50. Call the office to order t-shirts, hats or koozies.
To help plan this fun day, join us on Monday, June 19th at 7pm at the PVOA Building.
More help is needed in planning the 4th of July event. The next planning meeting in June 5th at 7 PM at the PVOA building (17 Lincoln Ave).
Tentative plans are for a parade, salad luncheon, car show, anniversary cake & ice cream, display of Park View history, patriotic prayer service, kid’s activities including bounce houses, pony rides, crafts, games & sporting events, a live band, and the fireworks. We need volunteers to organized the games for kids and the bags tournament. Also volunteers are needed for the dunk tank.
