Proposed Rental Regulations in Park View

Scott County will hold a public meeting to obtain input on the proposed Park View Rental Registration and Inspection Regulation.  Such proposed regulations may and could require registration of multifamily rental units, background checks of current and prospective tenants, landlord training, written leases, rental licenses and inspection of rental units for multifamily and townhouse units within Park View.  Such regulations may and could also provide the determinations that could result in fines and possible revocation of rental licenses for failure to comply with the general regulations, property maintenance requirements and any determination of public health nuisances or nuisance activity as defined by the regulations.  This public meeting will be held at the Eldridge Branch of the Scott County Library, 200 N. 6^th Ave Eldridge, IA at 6 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
